It is designed to monitor cracks and shrinkage over time with MIDAS GEN's construction phase analysis, adapting to evolving concrete conditions.

      Russky Island Bridge

      The Russky Island Bridge, with the technical capabilities of MIDAS CIVIL in construction phase and moving load analysis, spans a total length of 3,100m, with a main tower distance of 1,104m. Connecting Vladivostok and Russky Island, this cable-stayed bridge was constructed from September 2008 to July 2012, crossing the Eastern Bosphorus Strait in time for the APEC summit.

      The existing tunnel at King's Cross Station is reinforced with retaining walls for the vertical shaft, which has a cylindrical section constructed with segmental lining. The shaft, built gradually with cross-section variations, is reinforced with shotcrete down to 1m depth. Post-reinforcement, connection points are finalized. Impact assessment on the existing tunnel and lining design for the vertical shaft is done using MIDAS GTS NX after removing block retaining walls.

      The Beijing Olympic Main Stadium, analyzed with MIDAS GEN, is known as the "Bird's Nest" for its saddle-shaped steel roof and intricate exterior. Spanning 330m by 220m, the roof used 45,000 tons of steel. Its upper surface has ETFE (ethylene tetra fluroro ethylene) panels for natural light, while the lower surface features sound-absorbing membranes. These structures maintain optimal brightness and acoustics in the stadium.

      Structurally analyzed with MIDAS CIVIL, the Sutong Bridge is a double-pylon steel box girder bridge, spanning 8,206m with a main span of 1,088m. As China's longest cable-stayed bridge, it connects the Yangtze River's north and south banks. At the time of design, it held the record as the world's longest cable-stayed bridge, featuring a maximum clearance height of 62m for marine vessels. The bridge accommodates six lanes with a speed limit of 100 km/h.

Designed for wind speeds up to 72m/s and seismic activity up to magnitude 7, the bridge includes the world's largest ship collision prevention facility near the main navigation route.

      Stonecutter Bridge, analyzed with MIDAS CIVIL, boasts a main span length of 1,018 meters, making it the second-longest cable-stayed bridge in the world. This bridge serves as a landmark gateway, spanning the bustling Rambler Channel at the entrance to the Kwai Chung Container Terminal, connecting to one of the world's vibrant trade hubs, Hong Kong. The 1.6-kilometer viaduct forms a critical part of the new Route 8, a 7.6-kilometer dual three-lane expressway that links Cheung Sha Wan to Tsing Yi Island. This route enhances accessibility between the international airport and the urban area of West Kowloon, and it improves the connection to the container port.
